Thank you for rescuing me from hopelessness.
For being so brilliant, funny, kind & sweet; you gave and taught me patience and devotion and sacrifice. No man before has ever made me feel as desired, needed, beloved & appreciated.
Some people live their whole lives without this kind of love.
Rarely a day goes by when something in my life -- doesn't make me think of you or what you would think. Thank you for making me want to be a better person. You really did. It happens. You made me a little less judgmental and more open to new ideas.
Thank you for making me laugh, at you and myself, and for taking my breath away.... for the advice you gave me, & for the soothing tone of your voice during times of trouble. I want to thank you for completely changing my outlook on life.
I pictured *you* at the end of the aisle. It is not to be. I've known that for years. But that doesn't make the love any less real.
